Donley County Rest Stop
The Donley County Safety Rest Area Project consisted of two (2) five thousand SF main information centers resembling a 19th century train depot, four (4) rail car shaped restroom buildings along with two (2) group picnic buildings resembling trains along side of stamped concrete resembling rail road tracks. In all, the entire facilities site consists of 524,800 square feet of paving, landscaping, site utilities, sewage treatment “constructed wetlands”, playgrounds, deceleration and acceleration lanes, and miscellaneous site amenities on each side of US Hwy 287.
