A Ribbon Cutting was held on April 28th for the New Public Safety Facility in Corinth. It sits on approximately 6.08 acres, the 32,000-square-foot main building located at 3501 FM2181 was renovated into the home of the Corinth Police Department and Lake Cities Fire Department Administration by SEDALCO Construction Services. Housing all public safety administration under the same roof will centralize communications and resources.
“This facility is the culmination of a great deal of planning and hard work. It makes a magnificent statement about our community and we are excited to bring a firehouse to the west side of the Interstate”, stated Assistant Fire Chief Michael Ross. The additional fire house will give much needed presence on the west side of the freeway and will provide back up to the two existing stations.
